Frequently asked questions

If your question isn't answered here, please get in touch.

What is naturopathy?

Naturopathy, or nature cure, is a system of wellness care that works with natural elements such as diet, water, air, sunlight, rest and movement to support the body's own balance. At Arogyam Sutra it is combined with yoga and other traditional therapies.

What are the clinic timings?

Monday – Friday: 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. We recommend booking ahead so the team can plan your consultation.

Where is Arogyam Sutra located?

The clinic is at Sector C 9, Library, Near Community Center, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi 110070.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, please request an appointment online or call the clinic. Online requests are not confirmed until a member of the team contacts you.

What happens at the first consultation?

Your consultant will ask about your health history, current medicines, diet, sleep and daily routine, then suggest a plan of therapies and home practices that suit you.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Please bring any recent medical reports and prescriptions, a list of medicines or supplements you take, and wear comfortable clothing if you expect to try yoga or a hands-on therapy.

Can natural therapies replace my current medicines?

No. Please do not stop or change any prescribed medicine without speaking to the doctor who prescribed it. Our therapies are intended to complement, not replace, conventional medical care.

Do you offer online yoga classes?

Yes. There are 8 live online batches every day, morning and evening, with monthly, quarterly and yearly plans. See the Online Yoga page or message us on WhatsApp to join.

Can I contact you on WhatsApp?

Yes, you can message the clinic on WhatsApp at +91 99589 11321. For anything urgent, please call.

How much does a consultation cost?

Fees depend on the consultation and therapies involved. Please call the clinic for current fees.

What is the difference between naturopathy and Ayurveda?

Both are traditional Indian systems of wellness. Naturopathy works mainly with diet, water, mud, sunlight, air, fasting and yoga, without medicines. Ayurveda also uses herbal preparations and classical procedures such as panchakarma. Your consultant may combine the two in one plan.

Which health concerns can natural therapies support?

Many people come for stress, sleep, back, neck and joint pain, weight, digestion, and lifestyle support with diabetes, blood pressure, PCOS or thyroid conditions, always alongside their doctor's care. Our Health concerns guides explain each one and when to see a doctor first.

Can I have natural therapies alongside allopathic treatment or physiotherapy?

Yes. Natural therapies are intended to complement medical care. Please tell your doctor and the clinic about everything you are doing, and keep taking prescribed medicines unless your own doctor advises otherwise.

Are therapies safe during pregnancy?

Some gentle practices can be suitable, but many therapies, postures and pressure points are avoided or changed during pregnancy. Please tell the team if you are or might be pregnant, and check with your obstetrician first.

What should I wear for yoga or a therapy session?

Loose, comfortable clothing. For oil therapies such as abhyanga, shirodhara or kati vasti, wear old clothes, as oil can stain. Practise yoga on an empty stomach or two to three hours after a meal.

Which payment methods do you accept?

The clinic accepts cash, UPI, cards and bank transfer. The fee is confirmed before your plan starts.

Which languages do you speak?

The team speaks Hindi and English.
