About this course
Meditation training goes further than a single session. It is for students who want to understand different meditation techniques, practise them regularly and, if they wish, learn how to lead others.
The syllabus, duration, batch timings, whether classes are held at the clinic or online, the fee and any certificate are shared when you enquire.
What it covers
- Guided practice of different techniques
- Building a regular personal routine
- Course details shared on enquiry
Who meditation training is for
A single meditation session can be calming. Training goes further: it helps you understand different techniques, practise them steadily over weeks, and know which practice suits which moment. It suits people who want a dependable personal practice, and people who would like to learn to guide others, such as yoga teachers, coaches, wellness professionals and educators.
What meditation training generally covers
The exact Arogyam Sutra syllabus is shared when you enquire. Training in this area usually includes:
- Foundations. Posture, breath and settling the mind.
- Techniques. Breath awareness, mantra and Om chanting, body scan, trataka (candle gazing), loving-kindness, walking meditation and yoga nidra.
- Background. Meditation in the yoga tradition, including pratyahara, dharana and dhyana from Patanjali's eight limbs.
- Daily practice. Building a routine, keeping a practice journal and working with restlessness and sleepiness.
- Guiding others. How to lead a short practice clearly and kindly, if you wish to teach.
- Safety. When meditation may not suit someone, and when to suggest professional support.
What to expect
Expect guided practice in every class, with discussion and time to ask questions. Progress comes from regular home practice between classes, often 10 to 20 minutes a day.
What the research says
NCCIH reports that meditation and mindfulness practices may help with anxiety, stress and sleep, and are generally safe for healthy people. Some people with a history of trauma or mental illness may find certain practices difficult, which is why learning with a teacher helps.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need any meditation experience to join?
Not necessarily. Some training is suitable for beginners, while teacher-level training may expect a regular practice. The clinic will advise you when you enquire.
Will this course qualify me to teach meditation?
Please ask the clinic about the course level and any certificate. Course content is educational and does not by itself qualify anyone to diagnose or treat illness.
Is meditation training religious?
Techniques come from Indian traditions, but they are taught in a way people of any faith or none can practise.
